Amy Sherald Exhibit – Baltimore Museum of Art

From the Baltimore Museum of Art: The exhibition – American Sublime – tells the story of (Amy) Sherald’s vision and practice through 38 paintings created from 2007 to the present—from her early, rarely seen works to her iconic, larger-than-life portraits of Black Americans in everyday moments, many of which were painted in Baltimore and feature Baltimore-based models.
Join us for a tour of the exhibit on Thursday, March 19, which is free in the evenings! You must reserve your own ticket. As of this entry, tickets are available at 7:00 p.m., 7:30 p.m., and 8:00 p.m. We are aiming for the 7:30 p.m. showing for anyone who would like to go.
Order your free ticket here! Donations to the BMA, while optional, are welcome.
We will host a separate Tag Along event for dinner at Tamber’s Restaurant just before attending the exhibition.
