Ravenel Bridge Walk

We are planning a morning walk on the Ravenel Bridge and then catching a bite to eat afterwards. The Arthur Ravenel, Jr. Bridge is a famous landmark in Charleston that spans the Cooper River, connecting Mount Pleasant and downtown Charleston. There is also a pedestrian and bike path that provides fantastic panoramic views of the Charleston Harbor. We plan to walk half of the bridge, and the round-trip distance is 2.7 miles. We will walk to the top, turn around, and return to the starting point at the parking lot under the bridge on East Bay Street, across from the St. Julian Community Center on Cooper Street.
