Palmetto Prime is Charleston’s social club for mature gay, bisexual, and queer men, and those who identify as male. We bring people together through friendship, shared experiences, and a welcoming sense of community.
Whether you’re new to Charleston or simply looking to meet great guys, Palmetto Prime makes it easy to connect, get involved, and feel part of something bigger. We’re a brotherhood of men who come together to build friendships, support one another, and enjoy everything Charleston has to offer.
As a member-run 501(c)(7) non-profit organization, Palmetto Prime is built by members, for members.
What We Do
From happy hours, brunches, beach walks, pool parties, and Sunday Socials to tubing trips, weekend getaways, volunteer projects, cultural outings, singles mixers, and unforgettable nights out, there’s always something happening– and always someone new to meet.
Our events are designed to create opportunities for connection, conversation, adventure, and fun. Great people and great experiences are our signature.
Is Palmetto Prime right for you? We’d love to meet you. Prospective members are welcome to attend our events for up to 30 days before joining. During that time, you can attend as many events as you’d like, meet our members, and experience what Palmetto Prime is all about. If you enjoy the group and want to continue participating after your 30-day guest period, we invite you to become a member.
