Details:
- Part of the DC Annual Jazz Festival in tribute to Duke Ellington since 1987
- Short walk from the Van Ness / UDC Metro stop
- Features 3 local jazz ensembles:
- UDC (directed by Allyn Johnson)
- Howard University (directed by Fred Irby III)
- University of Maryland (directed by Mark Williams)
- Purchase tickets online at the Instant Seats website
- Concert will start at 8:00 pm – arrive by 7:45 pm
Dinner before the concert:
- Some people are meeting at 6:30 pm for dinner:
- At “Viet Chopsticks” restaurant
- 4304 Connecticut Avenue, NW (near Windom Place)
- Features Vietnamese, Chinese and other Asian dishes
