Who We Are
PrimeTimers® Grand Rapids (PTGR), which was organized in 2010, is a not-for-profit, non-commercial, non-political organization, and a chapter of PrimeTimers® Worldwide (PTWW). The chapter is a social organization for mature gay, bisexual, and transgender individuals who self-identify as male, over 21 years of age. PTGR provides fellowship through social, educational, cultural, and recreational activities in a safe, positive, and supportive atmosphere. PTGR does not tolerate discrimination based on race, color, ancestry, religious, or political belief, sexual orientation, gender identity, ethnicity, educational level, marital or veteran status, income level, HIV status, or disability. PTGR typically has around 50 members.
What We Do

Monthly Dinner social typically on the third Thursday at various restaurants throughout the greater Grand Rapids area

Membership
Membership in PTGR provides a great way to meet older gay, bisexual, and trans men in the greater Grand Rapids, Michigan area and throughout the west Michigan area.
Chapter sponsored events are open to members of PTGR and other chapters of PTWW, as well as guests of members in good standing. Individuals considering membership in PTGR are welcome to attend a limited number of chapter-sponsored events, at their own expense, prior to joining.
How to Join/Renew
The annual membership fee is $20 for renewals and $15 for new members. Existing members can renew for $15, if paid by Jan. 31st of the calendar year.
We offer an online membership form. Fill out the required fields and hit the submit button to send the form to us. Bring payment to the next event or USPS it to us. We also offer online payment options through Square.
If you prefer, download a PDF version of our membership form. The completed form can be mailed with payment to the address listed on the form or bring both to an upcoming PTGR event.
