The Prime Timers Outing for January will be a guided tour of the Scottish Rite Cathedral on Tuesday the 13th, 11:00 am. The charge for the tour is $10, they prefer cash. We will meet at the rear entrance of the cathedral on the west side of the building. The address for the cathedral is 650 N Meridian St, Indianapolis.<\/p>\n
The Scottish Rite Cathedral is not a church. It is a meeting place for the Scottish Rite which is an appendant body of Freemasonry. The interior of the building is very elaborate. The ballroom and auditorium are incredibly beautiful. The guide will explain details of the building and symbolism related to Scottish Rite practices.<\/p>\n
