Contract Bridge Night

So, before we chat about bridge, did you know that contract bridge has its origins in the 16th Century? And, about 15 million Americans age 45 and over know how to play and about 5 million of them play at least a few times a year. Kinda’ nifty, huh? Now my exposure to this game started when I was a mere lad. My folks loved the game and attempted to teach me to play. Unfortunately I was more eager to continue my clandestine assignation with GI Joe and Ken (stolen from my sister) who were carrying on a torrid affair unbeknownst to poor Barbie (also stolen from my sister).  But enough about that. Back to bridge. PTKC is forming a monthly bridge group starting on the second Thursday of each month. The first game is on May 8th.  Games will be held at Jim Wright’s home and, even better, all skill levels are welcome to join in. Want to join the game? Just keep an eagle eye out for the Punchbowl invitation from Jim!
