Hump Day Dinner @ Hemma Hemma in Kansas City

Now this is a new place for PTKC HNDs (Hump Night Diners). Locally & woman-owned, Hemma Hemma is founded by chef Ashley Bareis. It’s a highly regarded Kansas City restaurant featuring globally inspired, scratch cooking with options for every dietary need. A friend of mine recently dined at Hemma Hemma. When I asked about her experience I got a big smile, then a sigh and finally these words; “pure, joyful comfort food.”
