The National Museum of Toys and Miniatures

March 29 @ 11:30 am - 1:30 pm CDT

Now for the inner kids in all of us, let’s revel in our childhoods a bit. A superb place to do that in Kansas City is The National Museum of Toys and Miniatures! From dollhouses and games to green army men, Barbie dolls, and video game consoles, the Museum’s toy collection explores social and cultural history through the lens of toys from about 1690 to the present day. Plus we can further indulge in ogling the fine-scale miniatures handmade by artists and often inspired by an existing full-scale objects.  Even better we’re getting a museum tour guide and PTKC is pickin’ up the tab for the tour and admission. Oh, and there’s plenty of free parking, too. Pretty great stuff, right?!

So let’s meet in the entrance hall at 11:30. Our tour starts at noon. After that we can meander around on our own or feel free to grab a pal or two and grab a bite to eat. We’ll keep it easy going.

Get a couple of arm jabs guys if you want to join us, please. Lots of nasty stuff still going around. We’ll see ‘ya there!
