DESCRIPTION:The year was 1933. Prohibition had just been repealed\, we were between two World Wars and nary a cardiologist prescribed baby aspirin.  THEN. COMETH. STROUDS!! Now Stroud’s award winning fried chicken came about because during WW II\, beef was rationed and Helen Stroud started serving pan-fried chicken. The original chicken dinner was only $.35! Now\, of course\, Stroud’s has garnered multiple awards including the prestigious James Beard honorific. But by now you’re thinkin’ enough with the typing! IT’S FRIED CHICKEN so get outta’ my way!!\nSo\, off we go north. If you haven’t been this place is both rustic and charming. I suggest wearing stretch pants\, fellas. So\, join us!
