Who We Are
Miami Valley Ohio Prime Timers (MVOPT) is part of Prime Timers Worldwide, an organization providing mature gay, bisexual men, and adult admirers with social, educational, and recreational activities in a supportive atmosphere.
Founded on Sunday, June 13th, 2004, MVOPT focuses on social opportunities with interactions among other Prime Timer chapters in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana.
Feel free to drop-in and say hello! We have a variety of activities to meet our members, make new friends, and have fun. Come to our monthly socials, our bi-weekly dinners at surprisingly unique area restaurants, and more. With Prime Timers, you will find a rich community of interesting people that will enrich your life as well.

MVOPT Activities
Below is a list of the MVOPT Re-occurring Activities. Click the “+” icon at the beginning of each activities below to display more information for each event. Please contact the MVOPT chapter at info@mvopt.com for current information.
5:30 PM Monday Evenings Applebee’s – Happy Hour appetizers at Applebee’s every Monday evening at 5:30PM. Applebee’s at 1795 Delco Park Drive; Kettering, OH 45440; (near Woodman Drive & Dorothy Lane).
10:00 AM Tuesday Morning Coffee – members meet at 10:00 AM at the Panera Bread, 4110 Far Hills Avenue at Stroop Rd, in Kettering, behind the Town & Country Shopping Center.
11:30 AM Tuesday Buffalo Wild Wings – Following Panera Bread morning coffee is usually lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings at 11:30 AM. (Tuesday is usually a wing special!)
6:00 PM Tuesday Friends of Italian Opera – for over 30 years the MVOPT members have been meeting at the Dayton Spaghetti Warehouse most every Tuesday evening for a social dinner. In honor of Bob Daily we continue this tradition. We meet in the Dayton Spaghetti Warehouse lobby around 6:00 PM and seated between 6:15 and 6:30 PM. If you are fashionably late just ask for a manager. Welcome to anyone and guests.
6:00 PM Thursday Evening Dinner – On Thursday evenings at 6:00 PM, we dine out at different restaurants. Check out the MVOPT website calendar for the list of rotating scheduled restaurants.. Please try to arrive 15 minutes before 6PM for us to get a count for a table.
6:00 PM 5th Thursday Fine Dining – On months with five (5) Thursdays, the fifth Thursday will be designated as Fine Dining. A nicer full service restaurant with a higher priced menu will be selected. Check out the MVOPT website for the next Fine Dining event. Please RSVP so appropriate reservations can be arranged. Please try to arrive 15 minutes before 6PM for a brief social time, seating will occur once everyone arrives.
7:00 PM MVOPT Movie Nights – are held on the second Friday of each month at one of the MVOPT member’s home. Please RSVP on the web site so the host knows how many people to plan seating. Fresh popcorn will be provided; bring your own snacks and drinks.
T.B.A. Matinee Movies – Specific movies and matinee dates, times, and pricing will be selected and posted on the MVOPT Events Calendar. Please RSVP on the web site so we can meet and sit together and know how many people to plan seating.
5:00 PM Sunday Evening Dinner – on the 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 5th Sunday’s some of the members meet at Hasty Tasty around 5:00 PM for social and an inexpensive meal.
3:00 PM 3rd Sunday Monthly Social Meetings – are held on the third Sunday of each month. Meeting location changes please check the website for current information.
