12:30 PM – Monday – New Years Potluck
January 1 @ 12:30 pm - 5:00 pm
Join Us on New Years Day to see Paul’s home decorated for the Holidays.
Another potluck event is presented for the Christmas – New Years Holiday. This is also another chance to enjoy one while learning
about the history and designation of the Henry E. Ladd House historic landmark. The residence at Oak Grove Street is historically significant for its representation of Loring Park’s tenure as Minneapolis home for upper class families. It is the embodiment of Richardsonian Romanesque architecture, its association with master architect Harry Wild Jones and its association with Henry Ladd. These four areas of significance are interrelated. Paul Mittelstadt, the current owner, and our Prime Timers host has rehabilitated this home with great detail. And now you can hear the amazing story.
