Who We Are
Greater New Orleans Prime Timers (GNOPT) is a brotherhood of mature gay and bisexual men who join together for social and cultural activities. Our membership is diverse, some are retired, others are still working. As a member of GNOPT, you will have the opportunity to network with other members who share your interest and life experiences. We are involved and focused on improving the image and quality of gay life.
GNOPT is a member chapter of Original Prime Timers® Worldwide, Inc. This provides opportunities to attend national conventions and meet other chapters’ members.
What We Do
GNOPT enjoy twice-monthly martini luncheons at some of New Orleans’ most legendary restaurants. Other events may include:
- Bi-monthly Luncheons
- Happy Hours
- Summer Picnic
- Field trips
- Movie outings
- Christmas Dinner

Membership
Members can attend all events. They also receive an every-other-month newsletter that includes a calendar of events and birthdays as well as a letter from the Chapter President.
