Our GNOPT Chapter President Graham was recently interviewed in two of our local LGBTQ media outlets.
On January 20, 2025, Graham participated in an hour long Zoom session with Jim Meadows, MSW. Jim is the founding Executive Director of NO AGE. This organization recently celebrated their tenth anniversary and provides services and advocacy for LGBTQ+ older adults in the New Orleans metro area. The radio station 102.3 FM WHIV-LP is a program of The New Orleans Society for Infectious Disease Awareness (NOSIDA), which was established in 2009 by local activist and infectious diseases physician Dr. Mark Alain Dery. NOSIDA’s focus is to raise awareness about HIV and other infectious diseases through music. NOSIDA received its non-profit status in 2010. As one of the only community radio stations dedicated to human rights and social justice, WHIV-FM uplifts marginalized voices and creates waves of change both locally and nationally.
