Our GNOPT Chapter President Graham was recently interviewed in two of our local LGBTQ media outlets.<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/h6>
On January 20, 2025, Graham participated in an hour long Zoom session with Jim Meadows, MSW.\u00a0\u00a0Jim is the founding Executive Director of NO AGE.\u00a0\u00a0This organization recently celebrated their tenth anniversary and provides services and advocacy for LGBTQ+ older adults in the New Orleans metro area. On Thursday, February 18th<\/sup>\u00a0from 9-10am Graham was an invited guest on the\u00a0WHIV.FM<\/a>\u00a0community radio show entitled (Parents and Friends of Lesbian and Gays-PFLAG New Orleans – Expanding the Rainbow<\/i>\u00a0with hosts Sally Jackson and Josh Carcabasis.\u00a0\u00a0This was an hour-long interview.\u00a0\u00a0https:\/\/whivfm.org\/about<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/span><\/h6>

The radio station 102.3 FM WHIV-LP is a program of The New Orleans Society for Infectious Disease Awareness (NOSIDA), which was established in 2009 by local activist and infectious diseases physician Dr. Mark Alain Dery. NOSIDA’s focus is to raise awareness about HIV and other infectious diseases through music. NOSIDA received its non-profit status in 2010.\u00a0\u00a0As one of the only community radio stations dedicated to human rights and social justice, WHIV-FM uplifts marginalized voices and creates waves of change both locally and nationally.<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
