DESCRIPTION:Join fellow Pittsburgh Prime Timers for a relaxing and informative boat trip on Friday\, September 10 aboard the Rivers of Steel Explorer. Traveling on the Ohio\, Monongahela\, and Allegheny Rivers\, this tour shares the big stories of the region’s past—along with many lesser-known tales. Sit back\, enjoy the skyline\, and see the sights as you discover how Pittsburgh’s unique history shaped the city we have today. \nThe Explorer departs the North Shore dock adjacent the Carnegie Science Center at 6:45 p.m. for the 90-minute tour. You may board any time after 6:15 p.m.\, but plan to arrive no later than 6:30. \nNote that in response to the changing conditions of the pandemic\, Rivers of Steel has revised a few of its COVID-19 Policies. Most notably\, masks are now required to be worn whenever anyone is indoors\, regardless of vaccination status. Masks are not required in an exterior area of the riverboat. \nDon’t get shut out; buy your ticket now!
