Who We Are
PrimeTimers® Sarasota started in 2003 and now celebrates 140+ members in Sarasota, Charlotte, and Manatee counties as well as members from the Greater Suncoast Region.
We are an active social group for gay, bisexual and transgender adults, offering more than 75 fun events each year.
We are a member chapter of PrimeTimers® Worldwide.
Our regularly scheduled events include two Sunday Socials every month, two group lunches every month, a monthly Potluck Supper, Membership Meetings that feature interesting speakers, and even a monthly Hamburger Night. Other activities include day trips to a diverse variety of beautiful Florida Sun Coast attractions, game & movie nights, breakfast & coffee gatherings, and an active Book Club. Two of our most popular events are the Annual Coquina Beach Picnic and the December Holiday Dinner Dance featuring an excellent live band for dancing, delicious food, and a cash bar.
Care & Support
A number of members volunteer to provide care & support, including transportation, to members in need. Our monthly newsletter provides valuable contact information for members who require a bit of care and support. We are here for you!
