DESCRIPTION:This talk will cover places of incarceration in Missouri throughout history: including a calaboose\, military prisons\, a revolving jail\, Civil War prisons\, one-man jails\, abandoned prisons\, numerous jail museums.  Plus\, gallows and a hanging barn.  However\, you may have missed your opportunity to buy your very own jail.  The talk will cover the 47 bloodiest acres in America\, and will cover the Missouri jail where a religious leader received revelations.  Also\, you will hear about the tornado that blew the roof off a jail and blew away the 2-foot-thick walls – but the inmates only had minor injuries.  Some modern-day prisons put on Shakespeare’s plays\, and some prisons train rescue dogs to make the dogs adoptable. \nAll Prime Timers will be emailed a Zoom link for this free talk
