DESCRIPTION:Mark your calendars for the night of Thursday\, May 14\, at 7:30pm\, for PTSL Night at the Missouri Botanical Garden\, featuring the outdoor light show: Patterns in Nature: The Art of HYBYCOZO. Join us for dinner at Sassafrass\, the Missouri Botanical Garden restaurant\, at 6:30pm. \nOrder your tickets from the website at https://www.missouribotanicalgarden.org/events-classes/special-exhibitions/patterns-in-nature-the-art-of-hybycozo  You need to click on “tickets” then select the “6:00 Lightform” box to buy your tickets online. If you are not a member and do not have an account\, you need click register in order to purchase tickets online. They make you register so that they know where to send the tickets. Registration does not make you a member and requires no further obligation on your part. You can also purchase tickets at the door. \nAfter you have ordered your tickets\, RSVP to rsvp@primetimersstl.org to let us know if you are coming to dinner at Sassafras at 6:30\, or meeting us at the Missouri Botanical Garden entrance at 7:30pm. Sassafras is located at the entrance to the garden. \n“Patterns in Nature: The Art of HYBYCOZO explores the wondrous connection between art\, science\, and nature through 21 intricately designed and interactive installations located throughout the Garden. This mesmerizing display is the first exhibition of its kind in Missouri. Sunlight and illumination filter through intricate designs\, shifting patterns bloom across the landscape\, inviting you to explore\, reflect\, and feel a deeper connection to the world around you.” \nTickets: $15–$17 members   $20–$22 general admission \nWe are meeting at 7:30 because the lights are more dramatic in the dark. Please assemble at the entrance to the garden promptly at 7:30 so that we can get a really great group photo before we set out. The Garden will be open until 9:00 pm. The Missouri Botanical Garden (MOBOT) offers free parking in its main lots (east/west) at 4344 Shaw Blvd\, with accessible spots available; when full\, use the free overflow lots at Shaw & Vandeventer.

DESCRIPTION:Please join us for the Whitaker Music Festival held at the Missouri Botanical Garden and hosted by John Carroll and Phil Egart\, on our calendar for Wednesday\, July 24\, beginning at 7:00pm.  See link to the website below. \nEnjoy live jazz music under the stars!  Just bring folding chairs or a blanket with a cooler for drinks and food (no bottles) and relax. It’s crowded\, so Phil and John will arrive early to save us a spot. Please click on RSVP so that John and Phil will know who to look for. This free event starts at 7:00pm\, finishing up at 9:45pm\, and can be rained out with bad weather.  There is ample free parking on the lot\, the multi-modal lots across from Gringo Jones\, or on Alfred or Vandeventer streets. So come and have a good time!
