SUMMARY:MILL CREEK VALLEY & FOREST PARK AT MISSOURI HISTORY MUSEUM
DESCRIPTION:MILL CREEK VALLEY & FOREST PARK AT MISSOURI HISTORY MUSEUM \nFriday Jan 30 from 10:15 AM to 12:30 PM \nLocation: \nMill Creek Valley is the sad story of a neighborhood that was torn down because city authorities declared it a slum.  But it was a vibrant place.  The History Museum’s exhibit will cover the life and death of Mill Creek Valley. 30\,000 people had to find another place to live.  People nicknamed the area “Hiroshima”.  A much happier story is the wall exhibit of Forest Park\, a St. Louis gem.. We will have an optional lunch in the Museum’s restaurant\, run by Amaghetti.  RSVP for this visit to the History Museum to Doug Schneider ParadiseDouglas@gmail.com for the meeting point.
