Find out what St. Louis Prime Timer grew up in a town that is now a ghost town!<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Abandoned buildings, paranormal folklore, and historic relics cast an eerie and intriguing atmosphere over Missouri\u2019s ghost towns.\u00a0 Although the phrase \u201cghost town\u201d might call to mind the tumbleweed-strewn roads and abandoned wooden storefronts of the Old West, Missouri\u2019s ghost towns tell a different tale.\u00a0 A detour through these rural locales reveals stories of a changing world and devastating acts of nature.\u00a0 Depopulated or simply forgotten, many have fallen into disrepair.
