Living in the Florida Keys offers a laid-back, adventurous lifestyle with a slower pace of life and a relaxed approach to work and play, heavily influenced by the region’s history and geography.\u00a0 Key West is the gemstone of the keys, at one time the richest per capita city in the United States.\u00a0 Key West\u2019s history features shipwrecks, a naval battle, a declaration of independence.\u00a0 (They will issue you a passport).\u00a0 Plus, Hemingway and his cats.\u00a0 All of the islands in the Keys feature fishing, boating, diving, and a special seafood-based cuisine.\u00a0 And one island is home to the largest masonry structure in North America, built with 16,000,000 bricks.<\/p>\n
