ANNUAL<\/b> PTT PRIDE RECEPTION<\/b><\/span><\/p>

Held at Woody\u2019s on Church Street.<\/b><\/span><\/p>

June 25, 2026 starting at 3:00pm.<\/b><\/span><\/p>

This event replaces the June Social.<\/span><\/p>

There will be pizza and entertainment, men and chat, a complimentary drink from the club, Hamilton men (I\u2019D SAY NEW MEAT BUT JUST THE NATURE OF THE GROUP\u2026:)<\/span><\/p>

 <\/b><\/span><\/p>

DRESS IN YOUR BEST PRIDE OUTFIT \u2013 I\u2019ll be watching<\/b><\/span><\/p>

 <\/b><\/span><\/p>

SOCIAL<\/b><\/span><\/p>

Remember that the Pride Reception replaced June\u2019s Social and that as always there is no Social in July.<\/span><\/p>

We are looking for someone who can take charge for the food at the monthly Social. The task includes figuring what to serve and buying that food. It includes setting out the goodies, not your goodies, our goodies at the Social. The supplies (for which you control the inventory) for this job are best kept at the conveners residence. Help is available.<\/span><\/p>

The drinks are done by a separate person<\/span><\/p>

COMPASSIONATE VISITS<\/b><\/span><\/p>

Ken Livingstone would like to know who would be interested in visiting members who are in the hospital, rehab, long-term care or ill at home.<\/span><\/p>

Has the club been good for you? Do you feel better attending events? If so, you might like to leave a Legacy Donation to the club to ensure its continuation.<\/span><\/p>

It does not have to be a lot, it can be whatever you want.<\/span><\/p>

You just have to put it in your will that you would like to leave funds to Prime Timers Toronto.<\/span><\/p>

We are not a charity there will be no tax deduction forms issued.<\/span><\/p>

Please think about it.<\/span><\/p>

Euchre is held on the first, third and fourth Monday of each month at The 519 between 2:00 and 4:30.<\/span><\/p>

Hamilton is not too far away.<\/span><\/p>

Check out their website, newsletter and new FaceBook group to peruse their activities. Our members are always welcome.<\/span><\/p>

Hamilton is invited to our Pride Reception and any other PTT event.<\/span><\/p>

SET UP- help needed        <\/b><\/span><\/p>

We need people to set up the room. Put out tables and chairs, set up the tables to put out refreshments, and attendance.<\/span><\/p>

Its good to have people designated but also, if you get there early and see people doing this task, please help. We had one person do it all last month. We were all busy with our tasks.<\/span><\/p>

We do not seem to have a problem with tidying, thanks!<\/span><\/p>

WELCOMING NEWCOMERS<\/b><\/span><\/p>

Please guys please remember that PTT is a social club.<\/span><\/p>

When there is a newcomer at an event please make sure they are welcomed as you were when you joined. Some have come to us to reconnect, some have lost partners and friends. We know they are welcome but we need to make them feel welcomed.<\/span><\/p>

Keep your eyes out for an unfamiliar face and introduce yourself.<\/span><\/p>

I know how friendly you all are but they do not.<\/span><\/p>

The webpage now has a fillable submittable Grievance Form. It only goes to the three people on the grievance committee, Bob, Don and Jack. No one else sees it. We will make the greatest effort to keep the info anonymous.<\/span><\/p>

Take a look at the gallery. If you have any PTT event photos forward them to president@primetimerstoronto.ca<\/a>. If we do not have duplicates they will get posted but we cannot promise.<\/span><\/p>

IN-PERSON COFFEES<\/b><\/span><\/p>

In-person coffees take place on Thursdays at 2:00 at Church Street Espresso on the south east corner of Isabella St and Church St.<\/span><\/p>

There is also an in-person coffee every Saturday at 11:00 also at Church Street Espresso.<\/span><\/p>

LUNCHES<\/b><\/span><\/p>

Weekly Monday Lunches take place at various area restaurants. Gather starting at 12:30, order by 12:45. Keep an eye on your email for Ed\u2019s announcement of where we will be invading.<\/span><\/p>

PLEASE READ EMAILS FROM ED TO GET INFORMATION ON LUNCHES.<\/span><\/p>

If you have a favourite restaurant send the name to Ed and he and the committee can check the logistics.<\/span><\/p>
