Senior Wednesday at Wichita Art Museum, 1400 W. Museum Dr.

Sara Harmon, filmmaker, will talk about her mini documentary of Wonderland Park on Ackerman Island, the first amusement park in Wichita from 1906 to 1918.  Ackerman Island was a sandbar in the middle of the Arkansas River and  Wonderland Park was Wichita’s Coney Island.  Admission is free to WAM members, otherwise it’s $2 for non members.  For more information see: wichitaartmuseum.org/event/senior-wednesday-directors-talk-and-film-screening.
