12 PM PRIDE Rally, Parade & Festival

Its National Coffee Day and you’re going to need it.

12 PM PRIDE Rally.  If you’re going to march with us in the parade, then join us at the Old Sedgwick County Courthouse (Central & N. Main) on the Main Street side.

1 PM PRIDE Parade from the old Sedgwick County Courthouse to the Mid America All Indian Center, 650 N. Seneca.  Hopefully, we’ll have a car, otherwise we’ll have to knock some kid down and take his scooter.  Hmm, parade on scooters, hmmm.

PRIDE Festival at Mid America All Indian Center, 560 N. Seneca, 12 Noon to 6 PM.  We need two volunteers for a two hour shifts from Noon to 2 PM, 2 PM to 4 PM, and 4 PM to 6 PM.  If you volunteer, you’ll get in free.  The beginning and ending shifts will have the responsibility to set up the table and take it down.  We’ll have calendars, applications, the video looping, etc.  Only give applications to those seriously considering joining.  Call me (573-9934) or email me(mendozamdm@aol.com) by September 28th to let me know if you’re going to be in the parade or work the table.  Pride 2019 – Love Wins (Burning Your Love): www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZhzASTo4y30.
