Road Trip to Abilene

10:30 AM.  Leave my house, 932 N. Amidon, to car pool to Abilene, text or call me at 316-573-9934 if you want to car pool.  On World Tourism Day, we’re going to Abilene.

12:30 PM  Lunch at First United Methodist Church, 601 N. Cedar St. hosted by Clark, our Abilene member.  Please arrive at the church shortly before that time; enter on Broadway Side.  The main fellowship hall is in the basement with restrooms nearby where the guys could freshen up before eating .  Hot Pulled Pork Sandwiches, two kinds of homemade BBQ sauce served on the side, three side dishes, two desserts, water & ice tea , all for only $7 CASH! per person, includes tip.

After lunch, we can tour the Eisenhower Presidential Library, 200 SE 4th St.  Admission for home and museum is $17 for Seniors, or $12 for the museum only or $7 for the home only.  Tickets may be purchased in advance at https://buy.acmeticketing.com/events/272/list or in person upon arrival.    Tickets are not required for the campus grounds, library exhibits, or Place of Meditation.
