Stonewall Anniversary

I guess I’m a traditionalist. I believe that if you start to move the date around then soon you’ll forget the significance of the event.
The Stonewall Riots history is also my history. I was eighteen when I came out to my mom after reading about the riots in the Wichita Eagle. I wanted to be a part of that history, to go and join our brothers, and sisters, in NYC. That’s when I began writing to the GLF, Gay Liberation Front. What can I say?
