DESCRIPTION:Its National Free Museum Day.  I wish we could take a trip to Abilene to see the remodeled Eisenhower Museum\, even though we have been there before\, or to the McPherson Museum & Arts Foundation.  However\, with our potluck later this evening\, I’m afraid I just can’t chance it.  In the past\, we have visited the Cosmosphere\, the Museum of World Treasures\, Old Cowtown Museum\, and the Wichita Art Museum\, the Uhlrich Museum of Art and Botanica.  The Wichita Art Museum is always free on  Saturday mornings\, Cowtown is free on Sundays and the Great Plains Nature Center is always free.  The Museum of World Treasures general admission for seniors is $8.95 or $9.95 for adults.  However\, I’m suggesting that we go and visit the Wichita Sedgwick County Historical Museum.  The museum is in it’s 80th year and admission is usually $5 for adults and no senior discount.  Of you can visit whatever museum you wish to\, get your\, and a friend’s\, free ticket at: https://www.smithsonianmag.com/museumday/search/?q=&states=US::KS&.

DESCRIPTION:Its National Coffee Day and you’re going to need it. \n12 PM PRIDE Rally.  If you’re going to march with us in the parade\, then join us at the Old Sedgwick County Courthouse (Central & N. Main) on the Main Street side. \n1 PM PRIDE Parade from the old Sedgwick County Courthouse to the Mid America All Indian Center\, 650 N. Seneca.  Hopefully\, we’ll have a car\, otherwise we’ll have to knock some kid down and take his scooter.  Hmm\, parade on scooters\, hmmm. \nPRIDE Festival at Mid America All Indian Center\, 560 N.
