DESCRIPTION:This is our annual celebration.  This is when Mike & Joe turn their backyard into a summer resort.  Much like Memorial Day\, bring what you would like grilled\, and a side dish or dessert to share\, something that doesn’t melt in the hot summer sun as we’ll be outside.  There will be outdoor games like wolleyball in the pool where the object of the game is to keep the ball in the air and inside the pool.  Then there’s also Fetch\, the object of that  game is where somebody has to fetch the balls that didn’t stay  up in the air nor inside the pool area.  Be sure to bring your own swim suit and towel.  There are bathing suits available from our Ugliest Bathing Suit contest where you have to change into the ugliest bathing suit\, in front of everyone\, while standing on one foot.  There will be other yard games.  Later we’ll retire to inside the house for cards and TV.  Then\, we’ll talk about where we can go to watch the fireworks that night.

DESCRIPTION:Tom S. suggested that we tour Rise Farms which is on the roof of the old Fidelity Bank.  I thought it would be a perfect match to have coffee at Botanic\, the elevated plant shop and coffee bar.  We don’t need reservations for Botanic\, so whoever gets there first grab a table for six to eight people.  You can see their menu at: www.growgiesenplantshop.com/coffee-menu. \nThen at 11 AM we’re going to tour Rise Farms on top of the building to see their amazing garden in the middle of old downtown.  Parking is available in the public parking lot or on the street.
