we’re going to Abilene for lunch at Joe Snuffy’s on our way to Lucas.<\/div>\n
We can carpool from my house, 932 N. Amidon at 9:45 AM so we can get to Abilene by 11:15 AM. \u00a0Clark suggested that we drive “come up hwy 15 instead of going through Salina.\u00a0 That’s exit 34 just north of Newton. At US 56 it’s a jig jig go east a few miles and turn north on 15 again. Joe Snuffy’s is on South side of Abilene across from the courthouse. Turn west ( left ) at the traffic light which is 1st St.\u00a0 Go one block and the restaurant is on your left.”\u00a0I asked Clark to meet us at Joe Snuffy’s,\u00a0209 W. 1st Street, Abilene, at 11:30 AM.\u00a0\u00a0(https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pages\/Joe-Snuffys-Old-Fashion-Grill\/200391436657342\/)<\/a>,<\/div>\n

After lunch, we,with Clark,\u00a0can drive to Lucas which is about an hour and nineteen minutes to the Garden of Eden, corner of Kansas and Second Street in Lucas, where we will have a guided tour.\u00a0 Admission for seniors is $8.<\/div>\n

There is much to see and do in Lucas, but it’s about 2 hours and 15 minutes to drive back home.\u00a0 Before we leave Lucas, I would like to have a picture of us all around the biggest toilet seat in the world and send that to our international newsletter.\u00a0 And we have to take Clark back to Joe Snuffy’s in Abilene.<\/div>\n
