Sorry, guys. It’s a last minute event that’s definitely worth your attention! We’ve done another event at Casual Animal Brewing Company’s Think & Drink series. This ongoing lecture series delivers a wide array of topics that generate fresh perspectives, ideas, and discussion. These community-driven events are powered by a collaboration between UMKC, Linda Hall Library, The Third Place Historian and Casual Animal Brewing Company. On September 17 there’s a presentation called, Hidden in Plain Sight: The Story of LGBTQ in Kansas City. This will be a riveting, insightful and revealing discussion about bold stories, hidden spaces, and resilient leaders who built our community here in Kansas City. There is no charge but you must click the link to RSVP. Plus, Casual Animal Brewing stocks wonderful libations. You won’t want to miss this! I know it’s short notice, but do sign up to go!
