Friends of Italian Opera – for over 30 years the MVOPT members have been meeting at the Dayton Spaghetti Warehouse most every Tues- day evening for a social dinner. In honor of Bob Daily we continue this tradition. We meet in the Dayton Spaghetti Warehouse lobby around 6:00 PM and seated between 6:15 and 6:30 PM. If you are fashionably late just ask for a manager. Welcome to anyone and guests. The title, “Friends of the Italian Opera”, comes from a phrase in the 1959 Billy Wilder movie titled “Some Like It Hot”. One of the very first movies where men dressed in “drag” and performed.
