The Justice Museum is at 125 W. Washington Ave. and the Police Museum is at 17 S. 2nd Ave.
The admission to both museums: FREE!
The Justice Museum is a short walk from the Washington Metro Light Rail Station and the Police Museum is around the corner from the Justice Museum.
FYI…An all-day ticket on the light rail is $2.00 for seniors and $4.00 for adults. The Maricopa County Justice Museum and Learning Center is located on the 6th floor of Maricopa County’s Old Courthouse and is, the only museum in a working courthouse. The building has been restored to its 1929 grandeur and is still an active courthouse, thus providing visitors a unique combination of historic insights and contemporary courtroom experiences in one location. The Museum highlights the importance of the rule of law in our society, including the protection of individual rights and liberties guaranteed by the United States and Arizona constitutions. What sets the Police Museum apart is its emphasis on interactivity. Unlike traditional museums, The Phoenix Police Museum encourages visitors to touch, explore, and interact with the exhibits. From trying on authentic police uniforms to experiencing a simulated crime scene investigation, there’s something for everyone to engage with. One of the standout features of the museum is the memorial dedicated to fallen officers. It serves as a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made by those in law enforcement.
