P*Town bar has invited PPT to a tea dance/disco to show appreciation for the older gay patrons who have supported the venue over the years.

Celebrated DJ Billy Sandor will be mixing it up with good sounds and vibes from the 70’s. The music will creep up on you, the dance floor will take hold of you, and you will revel in boisterous pleasure.

No cover charge.

Why do they call it a tea dance?

Tea dances were events organized on Sunday afternoons in the homosexual community in New York beginning in the 1950s and 1960s. The name alludes to traditional tea dances of the English countryside. The dances included tea service. They were a place for singles to meet.
