Not everybody likes to venture out on cold winter nights, so Pittsburgh PrimeTimers is recreating the Zoom venue for us to gather and enjoy online entertainment and activities with friends—all from the comfort of your home.

Mark your calendars for the next PPT Zoom event – City of Asylum’s Thursday Night Jazz: A Love Supreme, taking place on February 13, 2025, from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM EST. This special event celebrates Valentine’s Day and the 60th anniversary of John Coltrane’s legendary album, A Love Supreme. Renowned alto saxophonist Yoko Suzuki will lead her quartet, featuring Max Leake, Dwayne Dolphin, and Roger Humphries, as they perform a full rendition of this iconic work. In addition to the album, the quartet will present various love-themed songs, including original compositions by each member.
