Coffee & Conversation with LGBTQ+ elders at The Hart Senior Center. 2 hours free on street parking. A project of the Wisdom Project. This is not a PrimeTimers event.
The Hart Senior Center @ 915 27th Street. Free 2 hour parking on the street. 1pm-230pm
This event for Elder LGBTQ+ citizens is held same place same time the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month. Usually about 5-10 people show up and lead by Cathy Perry and her wife Tandy Bowman.
It’s just coffee sometimes someone brings cookies/pastry (free) and you can talk about anything in a group that’s there to support everyone attending.
The Wisdom Project also has a ‘gathering’ on the 3rd Saturday each month either at a restaurant or a potluck at someone’s house. If you want to be on the email list be sure to ask Candy for her email and she’ll make sure you are included.
This is not a PrimeTimer event but of course, we support the Wisdom Project in their mission which is so similar to ours.
