Welcome to Seattle Prime Timers, a social organization for Gay, Bi, Trans, & Queer men over forty that self-identify as male. Our members come from a broad range of backgrounds and experiences, but we hold in common our interest in joining together for camaraderie and friendship.
Seattle Prime Timers is part of the larger organization, Prime Timers World Wide, with over 70 chapters in the US and Canada. Our local chapter is well-established, recently celebrating our 30th anniversary. We are connected by our mutual desire to make new friends and engage socially with one another.
Our mission is simply to come together for friendship, personal growth, support, and participation in activities we enjoy – particularly sharing good food and great conversations. We draw strength and support from our fellow members who make our club a fun and rewarding group to be a part of.
Our prime time of life is now, because “now” is the only moment we can actually live in. With respect, experience, and dignity, we’ve learned that life is a greater banquet than most people know. We feel that life should be spent living fully and authentically just as we are. To quote Auntie Mame, “Life is a banquet, and most poor suckers are starving to death!”
