A MAGNIFICENT NIGHT FOR A MAGNIFICENT CAUSE

​​​​​​​You are cordially invited to join the Gateway Men’s Chorus on Saturday, May 10th at 7:00pm  for the Grand Garden Gala, our debut gala fundraiser to support our little LGBTQIA+ chorus!

The Grand Garden Gala is a new and exciting opportunity for the Gateway Men’s Chorus. It’s our first attempt at a large scale, formal (ish) gala event to raise critical funds for our continued mission in the St. Louis region. We’ve taken great care to stack this evening with exceptional entertainment from the incomparable Mark Saunders, and sumptuous catered dinner by Hendri’s, and an incredible silent auction with so many items from local artisans and companies, as well as some pretty nifty trips – both international and domestic.

WHY NOW?

Honestly, it’s something we’ve been planning for many years, but up until now, it never seemed like the right time to launch. But now, with the shifting political climate both here at home and throughout our country, it’s become clear that we needed to explore additional ways to fund our efforts. With federal and state grant funds looking less than guaranteed, it was important to take some matters into our own hands and help to ensure that we could continue to provide our vital services to the St. Louis LGBTQIA+ community for many, many years to come.

THE SILENT AUCTION TO END ALL SILENT AUCTIONS

In addition to all the incredible events happening throughout the evening during the Grand Garden Gala, we will be conducting our first ever Silent Auction with an additional online component. This will enable our guests at the event and our patrons who are unable to attend to bid on a plethora of items that have been graciously donated from local St. Louis businesses, artists, and even a bunch of trips and one-of-a-kind keepsakes. This new auction format will help you to enjoy your time at the Gala without having to babysit a pesky bid sheet. Winners will be determined before the end of the event, and those in attendance will be able to go home with their prizes.

HOW DO I RSVP??

You can RSVP directly by visiting our website at www.gmcstl.org/garden . While you’re there, you can elect to either reserve an entire table for 8 attendees (for $700 – that’s one seat for free!) or for individual seating ($100 each). Your ticket guarantees you a seat throughout the evening, live entertainment, engrossing stories from folks impacted by GMC’s mission, and that tasty, tasty dinner from Hendri’s. 

100% of your ticket and any auction purchases or donations made throughout the evening will be used to fund our mission to inspire audiences and celebrate the diversity of our community through musical artistry and social advocacy.  Won’t you join us?       RESERVE NOW
