Black Tulip Chorale Concert “There Will Be Light”

Black Tulip Chorale’s spring 2024 concert is a musical dialogue supporting mental health and wellness. The program will offer selections from composers including Stephen Sondheim, Benjamin Britten, Joni Mitchell, Robert Schumann, Shawn Mendes and Tom Kitt. Also featured will be Michael John Trotta’s stunning “For a Breath of Ecstasy”, with texts drawn from St. Louis-born poet Sara Teasdale. 3 p.m., Sunday, May 19, at First Presbyterian Church of Kirkwood (100 E Adams Ave., St. Louis, MO 63122).
