Save April 8, 2024 to join Ed Eakins at his home in Cape Girardeau, MO for a total Eclipse of the Sun on April 8 2024. The eclipse starts at 12:21pm and ends at 2:45pm with 4 minutes 6 seconds of totality from 1:58pm to 2:02pm.
Ed is planning to serve lunch at 11:45am, and he is strongly encouraging that attendees contribute a cold snack, salad or appetizer. Just a bag of chips or pretzels, or a store-bought salad or appetizer will also do. Water and tea will be available – if you want anything else to drink BYOB or beverage. Hopefully the weather will cooperate. Weather statistics show a 60% chance of cloudless or rain.
