FREE WALKING TOUR OF WEBSTER GROVES

September 16 @ 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM

Tuesday, September 16

With optional lunch afterwards

9:30 AM to 12:30 PM

Webster Groves is the birthplace of Phyllis Diller, Jane Smiley, Ivory Crockett, Harry Carey, Bob Cassilly, Karlie Kloss, and Mary Engebreit.  The walk will be 3 miles, and will feature houses from the 1860s and 1880s, the preserved Ozark Theater, Tichnorville, Euro Trash, the Monday Club, Eden Theological Seminary, and many fixtures of the thriving restaurant scene in Webster Groves.  We will pass by the location of a shop once owned by a Prime Timer.  Plus, we will pause at the site of the “Railroad Mail Hook Incident”.

Please RSVP to Doug Schneider at ParadiseDouglas@gmail.com to find out the starting point.  Lunch will be at DD Mau Vietnamese Eatery.
