FREE ZOOM TALK: “MURALS IN ST. LOUIS”

St. Louis has a wide variety of murals: vintage murals, modern murals, and murals that trick the eye. Plus, we have the longest mural in the world. Doug Schneider will take you on an armchair tour and show you many of our murals, and to tell you about the talented muralists who have created them. You will also hear about the itinerant muralists (called walldogs) who traveled the Midwest painting signs on building walls – now known as “ghost signs”. Also, each year there are 2 events where the public can help paint a mural.
