Stonehenge and the Bronze Age stone circle henges of Great Britain are known for their mystery and majesty.  There is even a British stone henge that surrounds an entire village of 600 people.  Also, there are stone circle henges in Africa, Asia, South America – and one Bronze Age henge that just re-appeared in Europe because of drought.  But Missouri has circle henges, some within driving distance of St. Louis – but not all of them are made of stone.  Some of these Missouri henges were created by locals, including: a goat farmer, scientists, a magician, outdoor enthusiasts, and even a state government – plus there are Missouri henges that may have been created 1000 years ago
