Free Zoom talk: Tiny Geography: Micronations. Enclaves, Tiny Countries

Wednesday, Jan 07 from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM

A micronation is a self-proclaimed state that is not recognized by the international community.  We have micronations in the United States ruled by Kings and Sultans.  There is a micronation in Wisconsin with its own language:  where “aa” means Love At First Sight.  An exclave is a part of one state surrounded by the territory of another state.  Europe has a number of miniature countries, such as Monaco and the Crown Colony of Sark.  And you can rest easy knowing that an island nation off the coast of Connecticut has signed a nonaggression pact with the United States Government
