Ice Cream Social with Optional B&B Overnight

You can choose to make this a day trip or an overnight journey.
Eric and Mitch have attended this old-fashioned experience off and on since 1981. (It’s well worth the drive and a good carpool opportunity.)
A tractor churns the homemade ice cream. They serve chicken dinners in the air-conditioned church hall and have a stand selling – hot dogs – hamburgers – fish sandwiches – and more. There is live music from the bandstand. Tables selling handmade quilts, baked goods, produce and crafts.

Take I-44 W to MO-100 toward Washington. Take exit 251 (MO-100) to Washington, stay on 100 until just past New Haven go Left on E, and stay on E until you reach the church.
We hope to see you there – FYI – arrive early if you want the dinner so you’ll get a low ticket number.

For the Overnighters
We are staying the night in New Haven and will likely drive over to the Augusta and Defiance wineries for lunch the next day before returning home.
