IN PERSON: PTSL Walking Tour – Downtown Clayton & Optional Lunch

As Clayton continues to build itself skyward, there are lots of fountains and sculptures nestled in its downtown — some of the sculpture on loan from the St. Louis Art Museum.  On this walk, you will see the oldest building in Clayton (1854) and will see lots of buildings under construction…including buildings by a company whose corporate headquarters is booming and expanding.  If you have memories of shopping at Famous-Barr, the Clayton store still stands.  Plus, in downtown Clayton you can see the wind, thanks to 93,000 flappers.
