ONLINE Free Zoom Talk: Gangs of St. Louis

Gangs, mobs, organized crime, pickpockets, scoundrels, thieves, kidnappers. Organized crime reached St. Louis in the 1880s and was still going strong in 1980, the year of the Interstate-55 mob car bombing. The early 20th Century saw the Bottom Gang versus Egan’s Rats. The Prohibition came along and gang activity multiplied. This talk by Doug Schneider will cover 100 years of gang activity and its effect on St. Louis and law enforcement.
