Description:
Both trails, Pine (1.25 miles) & Pond (1.4 miles), are nature trails (not paved!).
The Pine Trail is more difficult than the Pond Trail, which is relatively flat. Both trails are mostly under a tree canopy but occasionally go out into the open
The Pine Trail has one steep descent followed immediately by a steep ascent. A rope tied between trees alongside this part of the trail is there to assist hikers. Last time we hiked this trail, some scoffed at my descriptor “steep” 😆
