*In & Out Trail leading to a Loop Trail – 3 miles (paved with a few slight inclines)
Directions
Take I-275 (in Kentucky) to KY 237 (South – toward Hebron). Drive about 1.5 miles to a roundabout, and take the first exit off the roundabout (Camp Ernst Road). Make sure you’re in the right lane before you enter the roundabout (learn from my mistake, ha!). Enjoy the rolling hills of Camp Ernst Road for about 3 miles. The arboretum entrance will be on your left. Drive straight ahead from the entrance and into a parking area, go past the kiddie playground, and you’ll see a small parking lot on your right. We’ll meet in this parking lot
I’ve reserved the shelter next to this lot for a potluck picnic
Fee: $5 (to pay for the shelter rental and bottled water, a main course as well as paper plates/napkins/plasticware)
!! Please let me know what you plan to bring so I can keep a tally; we don’t want everyone to bring the same thing !!
